This picture shows irony in the book Animal Farm, because in the beginning, all of the animals were anti-human, and then in the end they couldn't tell the men from the pigs. Through the course of the book, the pigs are gradually changing the commandments which foreshadows what is going on in this picture. The man and the pig symbolize the book's twisted way of showing leadership, and eventual equality.
